Paws Explore: Numbers is a title specially designed to help children practice and develop their number skills, through a range of fun activities. With 3 levels of difficulty and two friendly cat and dog characters, children can practice counting, counting on and counting back. There are also activities that focus on rounding, estimating, place value and number sequences. This title includes an extensive teacher’s section and resources for use on an interactive whiteboard. For use away from the computer a selection of printable worksheets are provided and the software automatically records pupils’ progress. Key features:

The Paws Explore main menu allows the player to easily access each of the six activities. It also provides access to the settings and whiteboard sections.
Place value can be practised in this activity to match the number shown.
The player must read the number shown and click on the button that shows the number rounded to the nearest 10 or 100.
The player must sequence the numbers correctly in this activity, by clicking and dragging the labels.
In this activity, the player must correctly fill in the missing numbers on the number line, by typing in their answer.
In this activity, the player must estimate the number of sweets shown and click on the correct button, before the sweets are counted.

Lots of whiteboard activities are included. This one encourages the user to count in multiples of five to fill in the missing numbers.
